Tom Dickie and The Desires
Back in 1981, Jon Macey was the bass player for Tom Dickie and The Desires, co-writing most of the songs for the band with Tom Dickie. The 1981 debut album on Mercury/Polygram was titled "Competition", and the title cut was hit around the country.
